A MotoPhoto Journey
From Valle Arizona South East down highway 180 to Flagstaff, then South East down Mary Lake Road to to highway 87, South West to highway 260 through Camp Verde and Cottonwood to the famously twisty highway 89a up through the old ghost town Jerome and then South West to Prescott, from there South on 89 all the way to Wickenburg.
In this approximately 200 mile route there are around 100 miles of moderately twisty roads and 40ish miles of extremely twisty mountain roads. The only reason I did not take 89a from Flagstaff through Sedona is that with summer road construction and the thousands of tourists that go through Sedona on the weekends, that stretch is agonizingly too slow for a bike right now.
And then the strange town of Wickenburg - eerily quiet on a Saturday summer eve.
